Exposition Text
Exposition text is a type of writing that explains knowledge or information based on facts to convince the audience or interlocutor. The information in this text is generally conveyed in a concise, clear, concise, but still accurate manner.
Exposition texts are usually made to pour out the author's opinion to discuss important issues that are currently crowded and hot to be discussed.
Because it contains the author's opinions and arguments, usually exposition texts can cause pros and cons in the midst of society which will certainly have an impact on the author himself. This argument is also one of the characteristics that distinguishes exposition texts from other types of texts.
Structure Text
1. Thesis
In this thesis section, the writer must tell the reader about the topic main that he will write. Thesis can usually be found in the first paragraph text. In this section, the reader can also see why the author provides opinion on the topic of the matter.
2. Arguments
In the next paragraph, we can find the arguments section. The author will write opinions to support the main topic that has been presented previously. Usually in an analytical exposition there are more than two arguments. The more arguments are displayed, the more readers will believe that. The topics discussed are topics that are important or require attention.
3. Reiteration/Conclusion
This section is always located at the end of the text and becomes the concluding paragraph writing. Reiteration contains a reaffirmation of the author's position and opinion on Main topic.
Practice 1
